WorldCrafter
Camera-controlled scene exploration with queryable 3D memory.
WorldCrafter Base and Fast support image-to-video and text-to-video at 640 × 384, with 33 frames per chunk. Multi-chunk generation uses RepEncoder to query the previously generated scene from the requested camera views.

output_path="worldcrafter.mp4",
return_dict=True,
)Omit images for text-to-video. Supply exactly one of actions, actions_file, or camera_path. Camera files contain finite global camera-to-world matrices of shape [T, 3, 4] or [T, 4, 4], with metric translation, a right/down/forward coordinate system, and a frame count divisible by 33. num_chunks can limit an existing trajectory.
Use model_id="worldcrafter-base" for Base. Base additionally needs the shared RepEncoder, tokenizer, UMT5 and Wan VAE from the Fast checkpoint; use shared_model_path if it is stored outside the standard local checkpoint roots. Both models reuse the project's Helios base transformer, scheduler and latent preparation, and the existing VGGT layers. WorldCrafter supplies camera residuals, memory selection/rendering and its distilled branch routing.
Base defaults to 50 steps and CFG 5. Fast uses the released three-stage 2/2/2 contract with CFG 1. Its first T2V chunk uses 12 steps; subsequent chunks use 6. Fast rejects arbitrary step counts and resume/state export. Base supports chunk_output_dir, state_output_dir, resume_from, and stop_after_chunk using a matching prompt, image and trajectory.
Base trims ordinary output to 33 × num_chunks - 1 frames, following upstream behavior. Fast preserves 33 × num_chunks frames. Base resume concatenates complete chunks and also preserves 33 × num_chunks frames.
The runtime requires CUDA, PyTorch 2.10, a Diffusers version with Helios support, Transformers 5.3, Accelerate, PEFT, Einops and safetensors. Compilation is optional and disabled by default. Local H100 checks cover released-weight I2V/T2V for two chunks in both Base and Fast, including strict loading, finite pre-clamp decoder outputs, complete video decoding and visual review. Base resume reproduces continuous pre-clamp outputs exactly. These short runs do not establish long-horizon memory or camera-control quality.
